It is almost impossible to put into written words the gratitude my family and I have for Tammy and her family. They are hands down the most ethical and dedicated breeders you will find. I spent hours and days researching/calling mini goldendoodle breeders and while I was interested in a few places, the moment I spoke to Tammy I knew I was staying with her. The first conversation we had (prior to even mentioning that I wanted to put a deposit down), she spent 2 hours on the phone with me just talking about their philosophy with there puppies and things they do to get them ready for their forever homes. After that call, the rest was history.

The process started with Tammy sending me an extremely long and detailed email of items she recommends and just overall puppy tips to get the house ready and to be aware of when having a new puppy at home. She even recommended some books that she read (which I read because of her) and they were awesome! So, I strongly suggest you ask Tammy for the book titles because they are well worth the read. Then, once the puppies were born, Tammy made it a point to reach out to me constantly with updates. Whether it was pictures, milestones, or updates from the vet, I always knew I would know everything that was happening with my future puppy. Tammy told me that she does a variety of different things with the pups to get them used to different stimuli and scenarios they will be encountering throughout life ranging from putting them in the car, putting them in a baby pool so they can be used to getting wet, cutting their nails, giving them plain water baths so they know water is ok for future baths, beginning crate/leash training, playing different types of noises/music over a speaker to get them used to hearing different things, exposing them to trusted family members and dogs, etc. Not only that, but you can truly sense the love they all have for these puppies whenever I talk to them. I really have no idea how she lets them all leave! She treats them as if they are going to be in her home forever.

 My puppy actually was able to spend a few extra days with Tammy and her family due to logistical reasons for flights etc. so she made it a point to start exposing my puppy to his name and basic commands such as sit, stay etc. Let me tell you...IT WORKED! Within a day or two of having him home, he was already responding to his name, responding to sit, and even giving me paw when I asked for it.

Aside from all of these things, my puppy’s temperament is incredible. He is the sweetest little guy, loves to cuddle but also loves to play and be energetic. Our puppy is so receptive and loving to any friends/family that are around and I even brought him around a family friend’s trusted puppy a few days after getting him and he did amazing! Everyone that meets my puppy falls in love, not only because of how cute he is, but because of how sweet he is too. I truly believe all of these things are due to the work Tammy and her family put in. There is no other explanation!

Looking back, I would go to Tammy and her family a million times over and never question it. It is obvious that they have the knowledge, dedication, and passion to bring these little puppies into the world and start them on the best path for an incredible life in their forever homes. Whenever I had a question about anything (and I had a million), I never felt uncomfortable texting or calling Tammy as she was always extremely receptive, enthusiastic and detailed in his responses. I still talk to Tammy and send her pictures of our little puppy and she is SO happy to see how he is doing. The most genuine people you will come across. I promise you, look no further. This is the place to get your beautiful goldendoodle!

We knew that getting a puppy during a pandemic was going to be different. What we didn't know was how great Tammy at Tender Little Paws would make the process for us and our mini Goldendoodle! 

We looked at lots of breeders, sites, apps, you name it. Rather than choose a place in California, we decided to go with Tender Little Paws because of their expertise, care, and wholly positive recommendations. You can't beat those characteristics, nor can you fake them. From day one we were impressed.

Every Step of the process, from litter selection, breed details, pickup, and puppy prep was done with professionalism, promptness, and a great personal touch. We love the new addition to our family. I had the best experience working with Tender Little Paws to add a new mini goldendoodle puppy to my family! Java is a sweet, confident, happy boy who is content to run around and play with us or just hang out while we work. I believe that the amount of time Tammy and her family spent training and socializing Java to prepare him for his new home is obvious, and I have had many people comment on how calm and confident he is! During the whole process I received constant communication from the Hansen's with updates on how Java was doing, different socialization activities and training they had done that week, and photos of him growing. We would like to thank Tammy for our wonderful new puppy, Peanut. He is wonderfully obedient, cute, and amiable. He arrived in great health, and crate training was made easier with his previous experience. Peanut is eating well, and is trained to go to the same spot during his meal times. He knows to sit for 10 seconds before leaving his crate, and he has no problem going to the bathroom outside in the same place each time.  
     We also loved how Tammy sent us images and videos periodically while we waited for the puppy to come home. We loved seeing little snippets in Peanut's life as he played with his siblings, got crate trained, washed, weighed, and de-wormed. Once we picked him up after 8 weeks, we received his immunization record, various chew toys, and an email listing the full care methods for Peanut, including his food and treats used to feed and train him.

I purchased a mini goldendoodle from Tender Little Paws in 2019. Tammy and her family were a pleasure to deal with. They were very forthcoming & honest. We could tell they took great care of the dogs. When we got Remi, she was very socialized as she loved being around people and other animals. They made this transition very easy for us. I was unable to make a trip to Utah to purchase Remi, so Tammy offered to fly with Remi to New Orleans. We could instantly tell they greatly cared for the puppies. We are loving Remi more each day as she has become part of our family. She is so smart & loving. My family & friends absolutely adore her. She is such a wonderful dog & has become so well trained.

Recently we had the pleasure of bringing home our precious Logan from Little Tender Paws to be part of our family. Prior to us selecting Tender Little Paws we had a pretty horrible experience with a breeder in PA and were very hesitant to say the least. However, we immediately got sense for what dedicated and conscientious breeders Tammy and her family are. From our first conversation to our last conversation, we felt they had a wealth of knowledge and information and were readily available should we have any questions or concerns. Not to mention that the pandemic presented it's challenges but they provided plenty of contact through videos, pictures, email updates, and google meet. The selection process went very well and we felt confident that we knew which puppy was right for us prior to selection date.


Logan is the easiest and best-behaved pup! It was such an easy transition taking Logan from the life at Tammy's home with their lovely children/grandchildren, his mom, and litter mates, to bringing him to our home to our two children (8 and 10 yrs old). He adjusted so quickly to his new surroundings. At 8 weeks of age, he came to us sleeping through the night and has never had an accident in his crate. He is walking well on a leash and is learning basic commands very easily. We are convinced he knew the basics already because it did not take him long. Within our first session with our trainer, she asked who the breeder of Logan was because she was in awe of how easily he picked things up. She said, "you can tell the breeder did an amazing job and I will certainly be recommending them!"  

Logan is great with our children, friends and family, and our vet was pleasantly surprised when he did not even so much as wiggle during his shots:)
We credit all this, in no small part, to good breeding and the great early training and nurturing given by Tammy. We know that the puppies were constantly around young children as part of the early training and it certainly shows. We also credit the lengthy, detailed, daily schedule that they kept the litter on. We are confident that this is why he is such a well balanced and well behaved puppy.  

It is obvious that Tammy and her both have a love for their dogs and go the extra mile to ensure that their dogs are given the best possible start in life. I would recommend Tender Little Paws to anyone thinking about adding to their family. We are so happy and we promise you will be too!!

My wife and I were looking for a puppy for some time, and after doing a lot of research and reaching out to many breeders, I was finally able to talk to Tammy from TLP. The conversation with Tammy gave us confidence to work with her, and believe that TLP is the place where we would get our little girl from! We received pictures of our pup on a regular basis, and Tammy kept us up to date on her health and well-being. Our experience working with TLP was phenomenal. Not only were they great communicators and responsive to all our messages and questions, but they regularly updated us with photos of the litter! They were very respectful of the COVID guidelines and made the virtual puppy pick a breeze! Tammy and her family went above and beyond when it came to puppy training and socialization. When we got our little girl, she was already so comfortable in a crate!  No whining, slept through the night. We couldn’t believe it! My experience with Tender Little Paws has been amazing and everything a relationship with a breeder should be! From the onset, Tammy and family were extremely responsive to all my questions and concerns (and I had a lot of them). They responded quickly and once our puppy was born, sent frequent photos and videos. They even let me send a Snuggle Puppy ahead of time to be scented by the others, and had it sealed up in a plastic back for us to take home. For pick up, they communicated regularly and all went smoothly (I flew to SLC). The gave her a bath, provided a few treats and toys for the flight and a VERY helpful document was in my email with all the details of the puppy's schedule outlined. This was enormously helpful those first few days! They had also started crate training which I'm very thankful for.

Our sweet Mini Goldendoodle, Nala, is smart, well adjusted, curious and cuddly! I can tell that Tammy and family spent time with her and that she was used to being handled. She didn't mind me touching her paws/toes, tail, etc. She likes riding in the car and is not fearful of new people or places.

I highly endorse Tender Little Paws and although we had previously had a Goldendoodle from a breeder, I never imagined that a breeder could be so great to work with. They made it seem like I was the only one and were never too busy to text or email.

After several months of researching breeds, looking at upcoming litters and speaking to breeders, my fiancé and I knew as soon as we communicated with Tammy at Tender Little Paws that we wanted to work with them. Tammy was extremely personable, she happily answered my long list of questions and with so much excitement, and she was responsive throughout the entire process. Regular emails were sent to all of us regarding the litter, with personality updates, photos and videos. It was amazing to watch the puppies grow and learn during COVID when we weren't able to physically meet them until pick-up day. We even checked in with our friends who were getting puppies from different breeders and the level of communication Tender Little Paws provided was superior, bar none.

In addition to the hands-on approach Tender Little Paws takes with their future puppy parents, their passion and expertise in breeding dogs and nurturing (pretty) well socialized puppies by 8-weeks old is evident. Each puppy was exposed to nail trimming, time in a crate, different materials/textures, toys, car rides, and sounds before 8-weeks which allowed for a comfortable road trip back to CA and an easier transition for Fritz in our home. I will also note that while we don't have children, our puppy Fritz absolutely loves the children that live in our apartment building and we know that's because Tammy's children spent quality time with our puppy. It is so sweet to watch him get excited and gently play with children of all ages. He is so excited to meet new people and other dogs, and we couldn't be more pleased with our beautiful puppy Fritz!

"Working with Tammy and her family to adopt a goldendoodle was an incredible experience. I was working with them during the Covid pandemic so I did not get to meet them or the puppy in person until the 8-week pickup day, but they did a wonderful job making me feel like I was with them every step of the way. They sent out weekly email updates that included how the puppies were doing, important milestones (first vet visits, first vaccinations, etc), and photos of how the puppies were growing and developing. They were also available for video calls where I got to see the puppies and their home where they were raising their dogs. I was extremely impressed with everything they exposed the puppies to at a young age. For starters, they have a large family so the puppies got to meet infants, children, and adults, so my puppy had no problems socializing with people of any age when I brought him home. They also have other dogs in the house, so my puppy did not have any issues around the dogs in my neighborhood either. Beyond socialization, they exposed the puppies to different sounds, textures, and even puzzle games to challenge their minds at a young age. My puppy has been extremely easy to train and responsive, and I think all the frontend work Tammy and her family put in helped with that. They also started crate training the puppies, which made the transition of the new puppy into my home much easier. My puppy was already familiar with the crate so he did not have any major issues with crate training, and in return this helped speed up potty training as well. Tammy and her family at TenderLittlePaws are wonderful people to work with and were available every step of the way for me. I really loved working with them - they made adopting my very first puppy an easy and incredible experience, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a new puppy. "I wanted to wait a little while before writing this review. Our puppy was born May 2020 and we drove to Utah from Colorado to get him at 8 weeks of age. He is now 8 months old and has been the best dog we have ever had. I think a lot of this has to do with the early neurological stimulation he received as a puppy from Tammy and her family at Tender Little Paws. In the time we have had him he has had 2 accidents in the house (both our fault for not pay attention). He was easily crate trained and I do not remember a night of him crying in his crate. He has gone through AKC good citizen training and passed at only 8 months. He has been unbelievably easy to train and is incredibly smart. We are so happy we were able to find him and have him be such an easy transition into our family. If we ever want to add a sibling for him we for sure will be back to see Tammy and her family.

P.S. he is super cute and basically looks like a walking teddy bear.

“I highly recommend Tender Little Paws after my experience with them this past year! I am truly grateful to them for my little Benson! From the very beginning, I could tell that it would be a great experience - my communication with Kent and Tammy regarding my puppy was over the top! They were extremely responsive and transparent and it is clear that their dogs are very much a part of their family.  

Benson loves his crate and I know it is because they introduced that to him so early! I did a ton of research on how early socialization is key for young puppies and I was pleased to find out that Kent and Tammy were already doing all these things with the new puppies! We received numerous videos/pictures of them playing, crate time, nail cutting, and receiving medicine, which I truly think helped to socialize the puppies from a very young age. My vet always comments on how happy of a puppy he is!

It all begins with love. The Hansen family love what they do and it shines through. Our puppy, Cub, came to us confident, curious, kind, smart and loving. 
The Hansen family are knowledgeable and set you and your puppy up to succeed. They give you so much information and guidance. (Take the Baxter and Bella Online Puppy Class, it is excellent). From the crate training to the socialization and all the love they give these puppies in the most impressionable first eight weeks is priceless.

We are so grateful for Tammy and her family / Tender Little Paws for bringing us the best pup we could have asked for! Jarvis is from Meeko & Evee's Spring 2021 litter. Before he came home to us, Jarvis was exposed to so many different people, other dogs, sounds, and textures which I think really helped him develop into such a confident and secure dog. He has such a sweet, happy, and calm temperament. Everyone that has met him always comments on how well behaved he is, especially for a puppy. Since we flew out to Utah from Washington, we were really worried about how Jarvis would do on the flight back, especially being as it's his first day away from his mom. But this little guy was so great on the plane! He basically slept for the majority of the flight and when he was awake, he was just quietly laying inside his carrier (we had our seat neighbors and a couple of the flight attendants stop by and comment on how adorable he is!) Jarvis has also picked up on crate training and potty training really well. He's such a smart pup and learned the basic commands (sit, down, shake, etc) all within the first two weeks with us. 

I've had so many people ask me where we got Jarvis and have shared nothing but amazing things about Tender Little Paws. Tammy is a great communicator and would send frequent updates especially as gotcha day was approaching which we really appreciated. He was always so prompt with his replies to any of our questions. I definitely recommend getting your next pup with them!
