Puppy Donations

At Tender Little Paws we know first hand how important and meaningful a wonderful companion like a Mini Goldendoodle or an AKC Golden Retriever can be in a family or individual's life.  Their unconditional love and devoted nature is endless when they are a member of a family as a emotional support dog, therapy dog or a service dog or a wonderful companion.

We have been so blessed to be able to donate some of our beautiful puppies and trained adult dogs to
families and individuals with special needs.  Do you know of a individual or family that would benefit from one of our puppies or dogs?
We have teamed up with the Kauri Sue Hamilton School in Riverton, Utah to donate a FREE AKC English Cream Golden Retriever
named "Mr. Blue" puppy to a student and their family that attends the school.  How we raised and socialized
Mr. Blue in this story we do with every single puppy that we have bred, raised, socialize, prepare and place in their forever homes.

After our story aired on FOX13 News, KSL TV and KSL Channel 5 and on ABC 4 Utah about our donation of Mr. Blue to the Smith family we were contacted by another special family wanting to know how they could adopt not a puppy but an adult dog that would be a perfect fit for their family and circumstances. The father of the family had suffered a severe stroke and his balance and safety would have been an issue with one of our smaller puppies. We contacted them and discussed with them all possible options.
After thinking about it for a few months we felt that a perfect fit for them would be our beautiful Miss Sadie of Crown Rose. Sadie is a AKC Golden Retriever that we have had since a puppy and she was at the time our only female Golden Retriever in our breeding program. She is a fantastic canine companion with the sweetest temperament and Mr. Blue in the above story was from one of her litters as well as many wonderful and well tempered puppies who many have gone on to be emotional support dogs, therapy dogs and service dogs. We felt as a family that Sadie would be a wonderful new addition to this family and be able to be a therapy dog and companion for the father who had the stroke even though it would put our breeding program for AKC Golden Retrievers on hold for a few years.  We could not be more happy for Sadie and for this special family that she is now a part of.
